Lane Motor Museum can make your dream come true with our Rally for The Lane – an annual fundraising event for Lane Motor Museum where participants get to drive one of our cars as part of an all-day rally! Specifications for the 2006 smart Roadster

Rating Scale:
1= Handles and drives like a Model T
10=Handles and drives like a modern car

Description The sports car version of the smart car- Small, low, and fun to drive  
Speed 3-cylinder Turbo, 100hp-  plenty fast for any situation Rating= 10
Brakes Excellent Rating= 10
Handling Handling is very good, the ride is very firm Rating= 10
Transmission 6-speed auto clutch or paddle shift Rating= 8
Visibility Ok. You are low and the windows are short. Does have a top that rolls back.  
Safety Airbags and seatbelts  
Passengers 2. The cockpit is small and narrow, people taller than 6ft will not be comfortable. The car is also very low to the ground so getting in and out takes some effort.  
Climate Control Heat   
Quirks Ignition switch is on the floor between the seats. Must hit the unlock door button on the key fob to turn off immobilizer. The car does not have a clutch pedal but will roll backwards if it is on a slope and you take your foot off the brake.  
Driver Position Left-hand drive.  
Overall Rating 10 out of 10
