Changing Lanes On Display Now
Since opening its doors over two decades ago, Lane Motor Museum has exhibited vehicles within the walls of the original Sunbeam bread factory building. Over the past year, the Museum has been preparing for a big transition – the largest expansion in the museum’s history. By thoughtfully renovating the former delivery van parking garage, the museum has added 25,000 square feet of new exhibit space and the ability to showcase 60 more vehicles.
The new exhibit space isn’t the only change taking place at Lane Motor Museum. Since 2002, the museum has been led by founder Jeff Lane. In March of 2026, Jeff retired from his role as executive director and passed the title to Chris Brewer, a lifelong car enthusiast with experience in automotive journalism and a veteran of the Concours car show world. Jeff remains very much involved with the museum, serving as president of the museum’s board of directors, attending rallies and events across the United States and spreading the word about the Museum.
Changing Lanes celebrates the Museum’s past and future. The selection of cars offers a glimpse into the new exhibits displayed in our expansion space. They highlight the key collections that make Lane Motor Museum the unique and special place it is.
