Vectrix Electric Scooter – 2007

The Vectricx VX-1 is the first vehicle produced by the Vectrix Corporation based in Middletown, RI. This model was introduced in 2006 and was assembled in Wroclaw, Poland, and is the first massed produced high performance electric scooter. The company then released a smaller scooter, the VX-2, in 2010. After a loss of several distributors and numerous production problems the company filed for bankruptcy in 2014. Most of its assets were purchased by the Polish MPTECH Group which restarted production of the VX-1 and has since continued the development of new Vectrix models.
