smart Crossblade- 2002

The Smart Cossblade is a quirky, factory-built roofless roadster based on the ForTwo model, produced in a limited run of just 2,000 units in 2002 and 2003. With no roof, a small windshield, and unique “blade-like” doors, the Crossblade was designed for those seeking something even more unconventional and impractical than the original smart ForTwo. Powered by a Brabus-tuned 599cc inline-three engine producing 70 horsepower – 10 more than the standard model – it delivers an exciting driving experience. A six-speed semi-automatic transmission drives the rear wheels, and the car’s light weight of just 1,600 lbs. adds to the thrill. Initially unveiled at the 2001 Geneva Motor Show, the overwhelming response to the Crossblade led to its limited production. A spiritual successor to fun vehicles like the Mini Moke, the Crossblade prioritizes joy and adventure over practicality.
