Father's Day- Free Admission for Dads!
Let us treat your Dad to a special day at Lane Motor Museum this Father's Day, June 19!
In addition to free admission for Dad, several activities are planned for including tours of the museum’s basement collection, rides in vehicles from the museum collection, and demonstrations of several of the more unusual vehicles. Dads are free, admission for other adults is $7, seniors (65+) are $5, youth (6-17) are $2 and kids age 5 & under are free.
In addition, we'll have lots of great giveaways from the upcoming CARS 2 movie including shirts, puzzles, posters, tattoos and stickers! (While supplies last!)

Special Activities for Father's Day
Take a Peek at Our “Basement Collection”!
Though we have over 330 cars in our collection we only have room to display about 150 at any time. Father's Day is your chance to have a 30 minute visit downstairs to see the cars we store for future exhibits. We only open this a few times a year so enjoy!
Limit of 40 per group- sign up in museum lobby. First come, first served.
BASEMENT VISIT TIMES: 10:15 am, 11:00 am, 12:00 pm, 1:00 pm, 2:00 pm and 3:30 pm
Take a Ride in a Museum Car!
Did you know that 95% of our collection is in driving condition? Sign up for a ride in one of these cars and you will get to experience the car in action!
Adults 18+ Only. Limited Space available- sign up in museum lobby. One ride per day, per person, please.
VEHICLE RIDE TIMES:
- 11:00 am Rides in a 1989 Nissan PAO- Experience one of the 4 models made in the Nissan Pikeville Factory.
- 1:00 pm Rides in a 1947 Tatra T-87. Ride in a masterpiece of Czech engineering. Fast and comfortable, the T-87 was 50 years ahead of its time.
- 2:30 pm Rides in a 1975 DAF 66. Experience the shiftless transmission that DAF developed and used in its car for years.
Vehicle Demonstrations & Behind-the-Scenes Tour with Museum Director Jeff Lane
Join museum Director Jeff Lane as he demonstrates three museum cars: our 1942 Tatra Aeroluge, our 1965 Peel P-50 & Sam Posey’s 1967 Caldwell D-7 Can-Am Race Car. Following the demonstration you’ll be invited to take a behind-the-scenes look at the museum’s restoration shop!
Demonstrations begin on the museum floor at the listed times. No registration needed.
DEMONSTRATION TIMES: 11:45 am, 1:45 pm and 3:15 pm
