Renault Dauphine- 1962

In 1956, Renault came out with a new model called the Dauphine. It was essentially an updated 4CV with a larger body and more power. The Dauphine was also the first Renault to be imported to the United States in large numbers with 200,000 coming in from 1957-1960. The Dauphine was a very successful mid-range car and remained in production for twelve years with over two million being produced during that time period.
