Frequently Asked Questions

Can we switch drivers during the event?
Yes and no. Only the driver(s) who goes through the familiarization process in the morning can drive the vehicle. There is a max of two drivers per car.

What is the driver’s minimum age?
To drive a car in Rally for The Lane the participant must be at least 25 years old with a valid driver's license.

Can I bring my children?
All passengers must be 16 years of age or older.

Are navigational aides allowed?
Yes.

Can I bring my friends?
Each rally entry varies based on the seating capacity of the car. If a car seats 2 it will include a max of two participants. A car with a capacity of 4 will include a max of 4 participants. Please note that, due to the time it will take to train everyone on the individual quirks of each vehicle, each car is limited to a max of 2 drivers. Drivers must be age 25 and older and passengers must be at least 16 years of age.

Is lunch provided?
Yes.

What if my car breaks down on the rally?
We will have a service vehicle following the rally with a spare car that can be used if the original rally car cannot be repaired.

What if I sign up and find out that I am not comfortable driving the car I choose?
We will try to work with you to find a car more suitable to your needs.

Can I bring my own car?
No.

Is there an average speed that needs to be maintained?
No. The pace is very relaxed. We want you to enjoy the car and the drive. Since the speed capabilities of the cars vary greatly, we have set the route up so even the slowest car can make the drive without pushing.
