  • Until this time, the registration pages will be protected with a password. Please note that participants of the previous year Rally are allowed a pre-sale period so many of the cars are already registered before the public on-sale dates.  Cars that have already been registered will be marked as SOLD in the list below.
  • When you're ready to reserve your car simply click the BUY NOW button on the date you wish to register the vehicle. You will be charged a non-refundable deposit equal to 50% of the car's value to reserve the car.  If you plan to split the car with a second party or would like to add the post-Rally dinner, this will be handled during the registration period from July 1-August 31, 2015 when you will submit the names and information for all participants in your car as well as driver's license & insurance information for all drivers in the car (not needed for passengers).
  • **IMPORTANT** Please note that during the first few hours of the event going on sale, cars can sell very quickly and therefore can be double booked. We willl be monitoring this very closely and removing cars from the list as soon as they sell to help prevent this but it's a manual process so there can be a lag between us removing a car and a purchase being made. We will let you know immediately if we see a double booking so you can reserve another car and the first car will be refunded by the end of the day (though it may take 5-7 days for the refund to appear on your credit card).
  • After reserving your car you will receive an email that confirms your reservation. There will be nothing else required until the registration period from July 1-August 31, 2015.
  • Any requests for cancellation must be received by August 15th to be considered. We will make all possible efforts to find someone to take your spot but, since many times we will have been holding your reservation for up to six months, we are only able to refund your deposit if we are able to find another participant to take your place. We will first offer the spot to those on our wait list in the order that they joined the wait list. If the wait list is exhausted we will post to the museum's email list and social media to attempt to find a replacement.
  • As part of registration, all drivers will be required to submit their driver's license and proof of insurance and must agree that Hagerty Insurance may check their driving record for the past 3 years. Hagerty reserves the right to reject a driver based on a history of serious offenses. A DUI/DWI offense during this three year period is an automatic rejection so please do not register if you have this in your history. If a driver is not approved, a full refund will be given. However, if a driver does not disclose an item in their history and is later rejected by Hagerty, we reserve the right to keep your deposit. If you have questions about this, please contact Vicki Garrison by This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or by phone at 615-742-7445.
  • ALL PARTICIPANTS, drivers and passengers, will be required to sign a hold harmless agreement. This will be done the morning of the Rally when you check-in and receive your Rally packets.

Rally for The Lane- Frequently Asked Questions

Can we switch drivers during the event?
Yes and no. Only the driver(s) who goes through the familiarization process in the morning can drive the vehicle. There is a max of two drivers per car.

What is the driver’s minimum age?
To drive a car in Rally for The Lane the participant must be at least 25 years old with a valid driver's license and proof of insurance (both of which must be submitted during registration).  Passengers must be age 13 or older.

Will my driving record affect my ability to participate?
As a passenger, no. As a driver, yes. Our insurance company will check the driving records of those who indicate that they will be driving the vehicles and reserves the right to reject any participants as drivers based on serious driving violations that may be found in their records for the past 3 years. Please note that if you have been charged with driving under the influence (DUI), operating while intoxicated (OWI), operating under the influence (OUI) or any other alcohol or drug related offense within three years from the date of the Rally you plan to participate in you are not eligible to drive a Rally car per our insurance underwriter for this event (though you may participate as a passenger). All drivers will be required to submit a driver's license and current proof of insurance.

Can I bring my children?
All passengers must be 13 years of age or older.

Are navigational aides allowed?
Yes.

Can I bring my friends?
Each rally entry varies based on the seating capacity of the car. If a car seats 2 it will include a max of two participants. A car with a capacity of 4 will include a max of 4 participants. Please note that, due to the time it will take to train everyone on the individual quirks of each vehicle, each car is limited to a max of 2 drivers. Drivers must be age 25 and older and passengers must be at least 13 years of age.

Is lunch provided?
Yes. Lunch for each participant in your car is included in your rally fee.

What if my car breaks down on the rally?
We will have a service vehicle following the rally with a spare car that can be used if the original rally car cannot be repaired.

What if I sign up and find out that I am not comfortable driving the car I choose?
We will try to work with you to find a car more suitable to your needs.

Can I bring my own car?
No.

Is there an average speed that needs to be maintained?
No. The pace is very relaxed. We want you to enjoy the car and the drive. Since the speed capabilities of the cars vary greatly, we have set the route up so even the slowest car can make the drive without pushing.
